This is the commitment that teachers of Anusara must make. I am continuously overwhelmed, in a good way, by how much I do not know. And God is sovereign over it all! He knows every intimate detail, and I only know what goes on in my immediate realm. I practice yoga, and I am a follower of Jesus Christ. It's interesting at times. Internally I wrestle with it at times because I love the yoga world, but I proclaim Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Savior. Yoga always talks about the divine light, but Jesus is the light for me. It's cool because at times I feel like yoga and Christianity butt heads, and then at times I feel like they compliment each other and are really talking about the same thing- we each just call it something different. But at least we are both acknowledging a presence greater than ourselves. Sometimes I just like the language of yoga- ultimately free and sparkles with a divine luster...positively beautiful!
